At the starting point, Quentin Marais's work was built around childhood: around memories and images of this period. Memories of places, cities, estates, objects, everyday life. He creates with the gestures, games, drawings, and colors of his youth. Cutouts, collages, assemblages, coloring, and scribbling: all these concepts nourish and construct his creations.
